This Privacy Policy explains what information MacSec Labs collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use the Platform.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Email address, sign-in records, and any name or profile information you provide.
Purchase information. Payment status, entitlement records, invoices, and transaction metadata from our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Usage information. Pages viewed, modules accessed, session activity, device and browser information, IP address, and security logs.
Support communications. Messages you send to us, including abuse reports, account questions, or support requests.

2. How we use information

To provide account access and verify your entitlement.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Platform.
To process purchases, invoices, refunds where applicable, and taxes.
To detect and prevent scraping, account sharing, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
To communicate about your account, access, security, and updates.
To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

3. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the Platform, including hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics or security tooling, and payment processing. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Security and abuse prevention

We may collect and retain security signals such as login activity, device/session identifiers, rate-limit events, access logs, and entitlement checks to protect the Platform and enforce the Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Retention

We retain account, purchase, and access records for as long as needed to provide the Platform and for legitimate business, tax, legal, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. We may retain records related to terminated accounts or abuse investigations where necessary to enforce our policies.

6. Your choices

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account information. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Deleting your account may end access to purchased content.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including passwordless authentication, server-side access controls, and monitoring for abuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest update date appears at the top of this page.
